Directions to Fountainview

Situated on the east bank of the Fraser River in southwestern British Columbia, the campus of Fountainview Academy is located on Hwy. 12, 240 km (150 mi.) northeast of Vancouver near the town of Lillooet. The school's 300 acres and abundant water, its varied landscape of fertile fields and pine-forested hills, provide an exceptional setting for a balanced educational program.

Directions to the School

Fountainview Academy is located between the towns of Lytton and Lillooet on Highway 12. Approaching from Lytton, go north approximately 40 km (25 miles). Watch the kilometer markers to Lillooet as you travel, and the school is on the left-hand side of the highway approximately 1/2 a kilometer beyond the "Lillooet - 30 kilometers" sign. Approaching from Lillooet, go south approximately 26 km. (16 miles). The school will be on your right-hand side approximately 3km. Beyond the narrow section of highway marked "30 kph" with yellow speed warning signs.

From Seattle: Take I-5 north to exit 256A and follow Hwy. 539 north. Continue north for about 20 minutes, then turn east following the signs to Sumas on Hwy. 546. Cross the international border at Sumas and head north to the intersection of Hwy. 1. Follow Hwy. 1 east to the town of Hope and take exit #170. From Hope, Hwy. 1 continues northeast to the town of Lytton.

From the North: Highway 12 can be accessed via Highway 97. Exit west onto highway 99 just north of Cache Creek. Then, just before reaching Lillooet, continue straight ahead when highway 99 crosses the Fraser River into Lillooet (staying straight ahead places you on Highway 12 south).
