Near the end of January, Fountainview Strings finished recording our Christmas album. And now,Recording Orchestra just three months later, we have finished recording yet another album. This one will consist of hymns, several of which were arranged by some of our students here at Fountainview. We have been working on this project for the past several weeks. Instead of taking several full days just to record, we recorded only in the morning. This allowed the students to have a normal schedule with classes in the afternoon. We praise the Lord for this opourtunity to share the gospel with others! Tentative release date is Fall 2008.

February 5, 2008 DVD Filming

Along with recording a new audio CD, we also are making a music DVD. Considering it is Christmas music we are playing, it would make sense to film in a wintry setting. So we grabbed our warm clothes and headed out into the cold. Amazingly, the majority of the filming was finished in just the past 3 days. We played along the Fraser river, rode in sleighs, and sang around campfires. We even performed on the side of a mountian while being filmed from a helicopter. What an amazing opportunity! We hope that this DVD will be big blessing! Well now the fun of filming is done, and the fun work of editing begins!

CD Recording

The past few days have been quite busy. We have been spending our time recording a new CD. This year we are making a Christmas album tentatively entitled "Go Tell it On The Mountain". We just recently purchased several pieces of recording equipment that equips us record and edit this project right here on campus. With the help of Dr. Tom Blaylock, a professional voice teacher and the founder of the Northwest Insitute of Voice, we were able to finish recording the whole CD in just 3 days. Praise the Lord!
